Founded in July, 2007 by State Nuclear Power Technology Company(SNPTC), Shandong Nuclear Power Equipment Manufacturing Company (SNPEMC) is the first specialized manufacturing company of AP1000 Nuclear Power Containment Vessel, structural modules, mechanical modules, integrated head packages and other equipments nationwide. 

 

 Located in Lingang Industry Area of Haiyang, Shandong, with 220 million RMB registered capital, SNPEMC has 3 shareholders: SNPTC, CNI-23 and COZ Investment with respective contribution ratio of 80.36%,16% and 3.64%.     

 

As the manufacturing base for design, fabrication, site erection and commissioning of partial of AP1000 equipments, SNPEMC is a specialized manufacturing company of AP1000 Nuclear Power Containment Vessel, structural modules, mechanical modules, integrated head packages and other equipments, with its historical mission of localization and self-reliance of AP1000 major equipments.

  

SNPEMC has obtained N, NPT and NA nuclear class certification from ASME committee in September, 2009, got certification from international authorities in the field of manufacturing , assembly and nuclear site quality management system and therefore become the first enterprise in China which holds comprehensive certification of ASME. In September, 2010, SNPEMC has been accredited as Provincial Technical Centre by Shandong Economic and Information Technology Committee. SNPEMC obtained Civil Use Nuclear Safety Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing License from NNSA in October, 2009. In December. 2010,  it passed certification of ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO4001 Environment Management System and GB/T28001 Occupation, Health And Safety Management System. Now the company is carrying two subject researches of National Science and Technology Major Projects and has obtained 10 National patents by the end of 2011. 

 

SNPEMC has firstly mastered the technique of CV, module fabrication and field assembly of AP1000, and is capable of batched fabrication. The equipment capability and assembly integral schedule can meet the needs of Sanmen and Haiyang NPP schedule of AP1000 self-reliance support projects. All of these has laid a solid foundation for batched and self-reliance construction of subsequent projects after AP1000 nuclear units construction.
