National Nuclear Equipment and Westinghouse Co., Ltd. conduct a second round of negotiations on international projects

On June 28, 2018, David Durham, Senior Vice President of New Nuclear Power Business of Westinghouse Electric Company of the United States, and his party visited the nuclear equipment of the United States to conduct a second round of negotiations on international project cooperation. Wang Guozhen, chairman of the National Nuclear Equipment, Wang Hongtao, general manager, and Song Fengbo, deputy general manager, attended the meeting.

Mr. Durham of Westinghouse introduced the development of nuclear power projects such as India and Saudi Arabia. Wang Guotao, the chairman of the board of directors, and Wang Hongtao, the general manager, introduced the company's safety and quality system, manufacturing capabilities, product services, welder training, product inspection and other related information. David Durham expressed his high recognition for the development of nuclear equipment and expressed confidence in the prospects for cooperation between the two sides. He hopes to start the next step as soon as possible.

During the negotiations, the two sides also reached an agreement on the future cooperation framework for overseas projects and agreed on specific steps.
