Personnel Gate

The personnel gate is an integral part of the containment pressure boundary. It is the passage for the operation and maintenance personnel to enter and exit the containment during the reactor refueling and operation, and can also be used for the transport of certain small equipment, tools and instruments. There are two sets of personnel gates for each reactor. During the normal operating conditions of the reactor, abnormal operating conditions and accident conditions, the integrity and tightness of the part of the containment pressure boundary can be ensured. Under normal circumstances, the gate can be opened and closed by manual and electric operation, and the two sealed doors are not allowed to open at the same time. The personnel gate mainly includes various components such as a cylindrical casing, inner and outer cabin panels, inner and outer sealing doors, transmission devices, pressure balancing valves, lighting devices, emergency communication devices, and data display systems.
